What is counted, and what is documented

The same twenty countries under two evidence regimes. Counted is what IDMC, ACLED and UCDP record — codes 1, 2 and 6, with numbers. Documented is what human rights investigations establish for codes 3, 4 and 7 — real, often large, and absent from every displacement database.
